Wrinkle Relaxing Treatment

 Botulinum toxin type A is a naturally occurring bacterial protein. Tiny doses of this substance are injected just under the skin into the muscles that area treated to reduce wrinkles. It specifically temporary blocks the nerve impulse, allowing these muscles responsible for the excessive contractions that cause wrinkles to relax.

Azzalure® is licensed for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to

severe glabellar lines (vertical lines between the eyebrows) seen at frown, and/or lateral canthal

lines (crow’s feet) seen at smile in adult patients under 65 years.

This treatment will help soften existing lines/wrinkles however we are unable to guarantee all lines/wrinkles will complete disappear. The effects of this treatment is only temporary and re treatment will be required every 3-4 months. 

Treatment is also subject to a full consultation with a Nurse Prescriber. as Botulinum toxin is a prescription only medicine.

 This consultation will cost £30 and is to be paid on the day of the consultation.
